Karuta
In japan a popular card game is Karuta. The game which is popular today is a hybrid version of a 12th century clam shells. It is a matching game where you have to match the differnt pictures in a short amount of time. In the game there is a reader and theu call out the description. The people playing will the to look for the first letter of the word said. for exsample, if someone were to call the word "ice cream", the people playing would have to find the card with the letter "I". The game is very fast pace and fun!
